‘The Celebrity Apprentice’: What Snooki is excited for people to see on Arnold Schwarzenegger’s season

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was for many years one of the most notorious names in reality television thanks to “Jersey Shore,” but we are now getting set to see her take on a completely different sort of gig: One of the stars for the upcoming season of “The Celebrity Apprentice” starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. What this represents more than anything else is a chance for her to venture outside of her comfort zone, and to do something very different than she’s done before.

Also, she’s looking at the series as a chance to present a different image to a larger audience, similar to what she did on “Dancing with the Stars” when she appeared there. For more, just look at what she had to say to People Magazine:

“I’m just excited for people to see me not drunk … I feel like everyone is used to seeing me drunk and now they’re going to kind of meet who I am today, which is a mom… I just want people to know what my life is like now, but also, I did this show to kind of challenge myself.”

What we are probably the most curious about is whether or not Snooki could prove to be more effective at this show than anyone anticipates or wants to give her credit for in advance, given that she does have some skills that should qualify her for this particular job. For example, she’s got a very good knack for selling products, given that she has several different lines out there that she released during the show. Also, going through all of that instant fame probably taught her a thing or two about money, and trying to manage a team around you.

The new “Celebrity Apprentice” season kicks off on Monday, January 2, and we’ll be actually offering up spotlights on all of the contestants between now and then!
