‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ video: Snooki, Boy George, and many others talk Arnold Schwarzenegger

With the premiere of “The Celebrity Apprentice” coming to NBC early next month, we are starting to see the network do its best to push out more and more of a publicity blitz. This includes the new video below, which features many of the stars taking part this season speaking about the man in charge of the boardroom this season in Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Specifically, you can see the likes of Snooki, Kyle Richards, Vince Neil, and many others discussing what they like about the former California Governor, how he could be in the boardroom, and also what his signature line could be when firing people. He’s not just going to replicate what Donald Trump did; otherwise, what was the point of even hiring him?

Our feeling towards hiring Arnold is that he will bring a little bit of comedy to the show, but it won’t be the same sort of comedy that it had. Politics aside, part of the humor with the original show was Trump at times making completely irrational decisions as to who to fire based on specific feelings in the moment — take for example keeping Gary Busey (who was terrible most of the time), and dismissing a largely pre-fame Khloe Kardashian because of a DUI that she had before even coming onto the show. Arnold is a little more self-aware, but also still a larger-than-life character who will want to entertain and make the show a success.

We still understand why some people out there may be cagey about watching this, but even still, we’re going to consider this silly entertainment first and foremost while toning out almost everything else.
