NBC’s ‘The Voice’ results: Did #VoiceSave put Ali Caldwell, Christian Cuevas, or Josh Gallagher in finale?
Tonight, the informal Red Wedding on “The Voice” is officially here! We’re going to see numerous contenders for the title have to fight to stay alive, as there will only be four artists in the finale. We’re losing half of the lineup tonight! There’s almost inevitably going to be as a result a few people who are disappointed by the end result. How could you not be?
We’ll be doing our typical thing in this article in updating it with further results as the night goes on. With that, be sure to keep checking back for some further updates!
Saved Artists – The first person declared safe was Billy Gilman. Then, it was Sundance Head, and we figure that was really a surprise to nobody given the results that we’ve seen on the show over the past couple of weeks. As of right now, he may be the only artist who poses a significant threat to Billy to take the grand prize. Following that, We McDonald also was named a finalist! This should be your first sign that finishing in the top 10 on iTunes isn’t a guarantee of anything, given that We didn’t finish in the top 10 in sales while some other artists did.
The Save – Now, let’s get to the good stuff. Christian Cuevas, Ali Caldwell, and Josh Gallagher are up for the final #VoiceSave of the season. Of the three, we felt like Ali was the most consistent and the strongest vocalist, but that doesn’t necessarily mean anything given that the public has the final say and it’s hard to know what they want.
While we were firmly in the Ali camp, Josh ended up getting to move forward. That means basically that we’ve got two country singers, and a former country singer, in the finale. Hope you like country, America!
