Ratings: ‘Timeless’ ticks up; Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show ties ‘The Voice’
We’re now into the month of December, and more than anything that means a little bit of a mishmash when it comes to primetime programming. There are many shows that are starting out and will only air for the immediate future, just as there are also some other shows that are trying things up for the time being.
With all of this in mind, let’s just go ahead and get to sharing some of the latest primetime ratings.
CBS – There was once again a lineup consisting of comedy, as “Kevin Can Wait” (1.5 in the 18-49 demographic) ended up topping out new episodes of both “Man with a Plan” (1.2) as well as “2 Broke Girls” (1.2). There was a repeat of “The Big Bang Theory” after that, and then the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show (2.1) managed to tie “The Voice” for #1 show on the night in this particular measure.
NBC – Aside from the singing show, the latest episode of “Timeless” improved to a 1.2, which is enough to make us at least moderately more excited about the hopes that it can be renewed for another season.
Fox – The “Showtime at the Apollo” special ended up generating a 1.1, which more or less averaged what both “Gotham” and “Lucifer” regularly draw in that timeslot. That at the very least may be enough for the network to consider bringing it back at some point in the future.
ABC – The premiere of “The Great Christmas Light Fight” drew a 1.3 and then a 1.2 rating in the demo through the two hours in which it came on the air last night, which really isn’t too bad at all. Meanwhile, “Conviction” ended up generating a 0.8 rating, a slight increase versus its recent performance.
