‘Once Upon a Time’ season 6 spoilers: Get ready for more of the Black Fairy
Sunday night’s episode of “Once Upon a Time” was the winter finale, and as a result of that, it shouldn’t surprise anyone out there that there were a series of important revelations that were made over the course of the hour. We saw the return of Robin Hood, realized that we would be seeing Gideon as a grown adult back in Storybrooke, and also that the story of the Black Fairy was not exactly done due to Rumpelstiltskin and Belle’s search for their child.
Now, based on what executive producer Adam Horowitz had to say to Entertainment Weekly, it is looking increasingly likely that we will end up seeing a whole lot more of said Black Fairy moving further into the future:
“We intend to explore what that realm is, and see a little bit more of it, and learn more about Black Fairy as we go forward. Without giving away too much, it’s a safe bet to say we will be seeing more of the Black Fairy, and more of where she came from, and why she is doing the things that she is doing.”
For everyone out there who loves Jaime Murray, doesn’t this have to be great news? We’re very much excited about it given that this character was pretty terrifying in the brief period of time in which we saw her, and it’s absolutely been set up that she may be one of the most evil people we’ve ever met through the series. Even characters like Maleficent and Peter Pan at one point in time had some sort of good in their hearts; it just went away over time. What we do know is that in between Pan and the Fairy, it’s starting to become all the more clear as to why exactly Rumple ended up the way that he did. Talk about a lack of positive role models!
