‘Bones’ season 12 spoilers: John Boyd drops ‘hints’ about final episodes

With the final season of “Bones” premiering on Fox early next year, we’re starting to get a sense as to precisely how the network is going to be promoting this.

The video below, courtesy of the show’s official Twitter, is the latest example of that. Here, John Boyd hands off a few “hints” as to what could be coming over the course of the final season, and there are many exciting things that we’re going to be seeing coming up as a result of this. It includes a possible proposal, a possible proposal, some happiness, some danger, and everything in between. Even if not everything mentioned in this tease actually happens, we won’t be mad just because we found this for the most part to be rather entertaining. It gives you a sense as to some of what’s ahead with a smile and without giving too much away — what else could you really want at the moment?

What we know about the final season of the show at present is that you’re going to start things off dealing with the aftermath of Brennan being captured by Zack Addy, and after the resolution of this, we’ll eventually start to settle into some more traditional storytelling. We’re going to see appearances from the likes of Betty White, Stephen Fry, Eddie McClintock, and many other former guest stars from the past seasons of the show, and there are more than likely going to be many more to come after that.

Beyond everything else, let’s just hope for a satisfying, emotional final season that combines everything that you love about this show, while maybe introducing a few new elements here and there in the process.
