A ‘CMA Country Christmas’, Weirdest TV celebrity friendship, CW Superhero crossover event
It’s Cyber Monday! While you might be focused on surfing the web to find those deals for gifts, don’t forget to check out the best new TVs on sale for yourself. There are some big online deals, and I’ve got to confess it’s the perfect time to buy a NEW TV with all the bells and whistles. You know, like the curved screens, the surround sound and even easy to program elements! If you find the perfect TV then you can reap the rewards and relax on your sofa and watch the best HDTV known to man (or woman.)
Start singing! It’s a ‘CMA Country Christmas’
On Monday night, the country music fans will be glued to ABC for the yearly “CMA Country Christmas.” Hosted again this year by Jennifer Nettles, the special was filmed at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. What is truly impressive about this show is every year the lineup is incredible. It’s an A-list of every country singer known (and a few more thrown in for good measure!) Nettles has become a staple around the holidays and she is once again showing up for her Christmas duties. Fans couldn’t be happier!
Weirdest celebrity friendship ever? ‘Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party’
If you’ve watched “Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party” on VH1, you might agree this is the weirdest celebrity friendship ever. Weird. Totally weird. Completely weird. And it works very well too. The viewers of this show can’t stop raving about the idea of these two entirely different individuals coming together to showcase some great food. This week Robin Thicke and Keke Palmer are the guests on the new episode. Let’s hope this vibe keeps right on going because it’s impossible not to watch at this point. If you haven’t seen the show check it out on VH1 Monday at 10 p.m.
CW Superhero crossover event: Set your DVRs to the CW!
It’s a CW superhero crossover event and the viewers are squealing with joy. The event starts tonight with “Supergirl” and continues until Thursday with a new show every night. Yeah it is epic. This event includes “The Flash” “Arrow” and DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow.” With all the superheroes coming together in one place, it’s hard to imagine what will happen. I guess that’s why we need to set our DVRs on CW tonight and find out!
And finally…. Who cares about “The Voice” coaches? It’s the singers that count
Am I the only one who really doesn’t care which of the coaches coming back to “The Voice” next season? With the rotation schedule, it’s obvious they need to share those big red chairs, right? With so many fans expressing disappointment (and a few showcasing outrage) it’s surprising to hear all the complaining. I get this rotation idea hasn’t always been ideal, but the top 10 contestants are hitting the stage this week and viewers really should be focused on this element more than anything else. Of course, that’s not to suggest I won’t be enjoying Maroon 5’s performance on Monday night (I will) but everyone’s focus should be on the performers looking to break into the business. (Photo: ABC.)
