‘Ink Master’ season 8, episode 16 (finale) preview: Will Ryan Ashley Malarkey, Kelly Doty, or Gian Karle Cruz win?

Ready to see who won “Ink Master” season 8? The live finale is coming up next week where we are more then likely going to have our first female winner crowned! The talent this season (especially from the women) has been top shelf and we can’t wait to see how it’s all going to shake out.

At the end of tonight’s episode, we saw the final three officially named: Gian Karle Cruz, Ryan Ashley Malarkey, and Kelly Doty. We know that these three are all more than capable of delivering great work, but this will be their greatest test to date. First and foremost, there’s the test of the master canvas where the remaining artists have an extended amount of time to work on a chest piece. The twists here is that these were chosen by fellow contestants, and with that, there was a strong strategic component to make sure these people all worked outside of their styles.

Kelly – A traditional ship with mermaids. It’s not her specialty, but that is precisely the point.

Ryan – Dueling hot rods, something with big, thick outlines and plenty of color.

Gian – A watercolor coral reef. It’s a clear attempt, yet again, to screw him over. Apparently, no fish are allowed.

In addition to these tattoos, the remaining artists are also going to be working on a seven-hour tattoo leading up to the finale, one that will apparently be chosen in part by America as they vote to select what they want to see the remaining artists do. These two tests will determine who the judges pick in the end to be the winner.
