‘Criminal Minds’ season 12 spoilers: Dr. Lara Lewis to take center stage in upcoming episode

Dr. Tara Lewis remains one of the strongest new additions of the “Criminal Minds” universe over the past few years, and with that, she’s always going to be someone we want to see more of on the show!

Therefore, we’re thrilled that Aisha Tyler and her character will be taking center stage on the upcoming November 16 episode entitled “Mirror Image.” Unfortunately, the bad news that is coming up for her here is that she’s going to be in an episode that does not bode particularly well for Tara, as a man shows up proclaiming to be her biological brother. However, she knows that he is not, and she is not able to make contact with her real brother. This is a series cause for concern.

Given that Lewis is beloved by many of her colleagues, you better believe that they will do whatever they can in order to help her! Given that there has been more turnover than usual as of late within the BAU, that could be a further motivating factor. Even if her life is not directly in danger, nobody would want to see her have to deal with any psychological aftereffects that could come with having someone like this mysterious “brother” around.

For those wondering, this is not the episode that will feature the arrival of Damon Gupton as a new series regular. That will be coming at some point in the relatively-near future, and we’ll get to see a little more of what he brings to the show. (Yes, we are still missing Hotch on the show, but it must go on and we’re going to give it a chance.)
