‘Timeless’ episode 6 preview: Will ‘The Watergate Tapes’ reveal Garcia Flynn’s true motives?
Ever since the beginning of “Timeless” season 1, there have been questions aplenty regarding Garcia Flynn. For example, we’re trying to understand more of precisely who he is, what he wants, and also what he is hoping to get out of his expedition. He’s a man shrouded in mystery, but at the same time he’s stated constantly that he has a specific motive for what he’s doing and may not be precisely the force of evil he comes across as.
Will next week’s “The Watergate Tapes” start to clear things up? Early signs seem to suggest that it’s a strong possibility.
Synopsis – “The mystery behind the greatest political scandal of the 20th century is finally solved when Flynn (Goran Vinjic) beats our team to the punch in Richard Nixon’s Washington. While Rufus (Malcolm Barrett) and Lucy (Abigail Spencer) are set on an investigative course that leaves them both rattled to the core, Wyatt’s (Matt Lanter) tragic past erupts, and the secrecy behind Flynn’s hidden agenda begins to unravel.”
Of course, going back to the age of Watergate should prove interesting just for the sake of seeing the most infamous downfall of a Presidential administration we’ve seen in a rather long time.
Promo – We knew that Flynn would have a huge role in this episode, and this is further proof. Apparently, things will be severe enough that Flynn will threaten Wyatt’s life if Lucy and Rufus do not retrieve the Watergate tape for him. They would save their friend, but in the process also run the risk of changing history. We don’t exactly think that this is an easy proposition.

For now I’m cool with that, but there probably should be some more answers soon.
