‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ finale preview: Meghan King Edmonds, Jim learn the sex of their baby

Sure, we know that there are going to be some really dramatic moments on Monday night’s season finale for “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” such as arguments, accusations of lying, and serious fighting. This season in particular has been pretty nasty when it comes to the fighting, which is saying something because we’ve seen some pretty bad fights over the years, but some of the things that have been said this season are cringe worthy.

With that being said, there are also going to be some happier moments in this episode, as well — and we’ve got some evidence of that in the sneak peek below! In this clip, you can see Meghan King Edmonds learning the sex of her unborn child with her husband Jim, and it’s really rather sweet. The two have a special cake that they have to cut into in order to learn the big news, and at the end of the clip, they find out that they are having a girl.

We’ve said time and time again that there are moments with this show that many cast members probably want to pretend never happened; yet, at the same time we do think that there are also some moments people will want to remember for the rest of their lives, and this will be one of those. For Meghan and Jim, it’s a rather sweet memory as they get ready to welcome their baby into their family, and we imagine that we’ll hear much more about this at the reunion show coming up next week.

Of course, tomorrow we’ll be back with our latest episode review, and through that we’ll probably get a chance to dive into some more of the drama that’s taking place. This is almost a nice little lighthearted diversion from that.
