‘Masters of Sex’ season 4, episode 9 preview: The ramifications of Topeka
There are only two episodes still to go on “Masters of Sex” this season, and we feel like these are going to be essential for setting up the remainder of the series. We’re not quire sure exactly how many more seasons that showtime has planned, but there’s one key story that the show needs to approach sooner rather than later: Getting Masters and Johnson together for however long they’re going to be in this timeline.
Of course, these two are not the only characters within this world, and there are some big developments coming up again for Art and Nancy. “Night and Day” is the title for the next episode, and we do like how this tends to bring in mind some sort of great distinction. As for whatever sort of distinction that is, that remains to be seen.
Synopsis – “Masters and Johnson return from Topeka and grapple with the trip’s ramifications. Meanwhile, Art and Nancy look to tie up loose ends in order to have a fresh start; and Libby embarks on a road trip with Bram that changes her perspective.”
Promo – Think of this as clear proof that Virginia and Bill are on the up and up as far as their relationship goes. Yet, having that back together to a certain extent is not exactly much of a guarantee that their relationship is going to be smooth sailing the rest of the way. We don’t exactly think that at all.
Meanwhile, we also get a sense through this preview that Libby’s “road trip” is going to be somewhat unexpected, given that her and Bram are going to find themselves in hippie country.
