‘Westworld’ episode 6 preview: Memories, changes, and the maze
“Westworld” doesn’t always like to give away too much when it comes to individual stories, and there could be a number of different reasons for that. For one, they like to paint a larger picture rather than showing off some individual clips. With that in mind, they may want you to get excited about everything that is coming up. Think of this as some further incentive to keep watching – not that viewers needed that since this show is one of the most talked about new shows.
The promo that we’ve got below is for the entire second half of the season rather than solely the next new episode “The Adversary,” so keep that in mind when you watch it. This promo does hint at many different developments, whether it be a surge of memories for Dolores, more questions regarding the Maze, and signs that changes are coming that could throw all of Westworld completely off its axis. This is a show that looks to be holding nothing back, which is great if it wants to continue to draw a lot of buzz moving into the second half of the season.
Synopsis (via TV Guide) – “Lutz is charmed by Maeve; Elsie discovers evidence that could point to sabotage; the Man in Black and Teddy clash with a garrison.”
We know that this isn’t exactly giving you too much in terms of specific stories to look forward to, but it wouldn’t make sense for HBO to give away that much more than what you’ve got in the promo below. The important thing about this show seems to be its continued attempt to present fascinating questions about who we are, what we do, and how sometimes having the ability to do something doesn’t necessarily mean that we should go through with it.
