‘Supergirl’ season 2, episode 4 sneak peek: Kara Danvers, Snapper Carr square off again
While Supergirl may be continuing to develop confidence as a hero in National City, Kara Danvers is still an entirely different story. She worked so hard to win over Cat Grant, but the struggle now is that she’s forced to figure out a way to do the same thing socially with Snapper Carr.
As we’ve seen a few times now, Snapper’s not someone automatically predisposed to want to like someone like Kara. After all, he finds it incredibly frustrating that she was hired to be a part of his team in the first place. It’s not something that he asked for, and with that, he would rather just move forward with the journalistic team that he has. The only way that he wants Kara is if she can prove herself to be worth having her around, and she’ll have to work overtime to prove that.
In the sneak peek below, you can get a small bit of proof that Kara is going to continue to try her best, even though it doesn’t appear as though some of these efforts are going to be completely rewarded. After all, she only approached Snapper upon this particular occasion with an idea, and if you want to be a good journalist, you do often need much more than that. Let’s just say that we envision much of this being a learning process for Kara to figure out.
Now that we’ve said all of that, we do hope that she gets on Snapper’s good side within a few weeks. Watching him constantly tell her how she’s not great at her job could get rather annoying after a good while.
