‘Chicago Fire’ season 5, episode 4 preview: Casey’s latest crisis
Within the world of “Chicago Fire,” disaster can strike at almost any moment — as a matter of fact, there’s an especially high likelihood of this happening thanks largely to this show needing dramatic, high-stakes stories. Danger is going to follow these characters even when they’re not wearing the firefighter gear.
Moving into next week’s new episode entitled “Nobody Else Is Dying Today,” you’re going to see Jesse Spencer’s Casey in a tough position thanks to an incident that happens while he’s working as Alderman; it could end up being one of the most dangerous situations he’s been through since the start of the season.
Synopsis – “While checking out a warehouse as part of his Alderman’s duties, Lt. Casey (Jesse Spencer) finds himself in a bad spot when a forklift accidentally pierces a tank storing acid causing an extremely hazardous spill. With a father and daughter in peril, Casey is forced to use extreme measures to remedy the situation. Dawson (Monica Raymund) and Brett (Kara Killmer) respond to an elderly woman who has a difficult senior advocate. Meanwhile, Mouch (Christian Stolte) and Brett continue along with their secret project together and Otis (Yuri Sardarov) shares some exciting news as he prepares himself for an unusual expedition.”
Promo – This doesn’t necessarily give you anything new in terms of information on the story, but it lays out the stakes for Casey in a BIG way.
Before we go, here’s a quick note on what you can expect to see coming up: We had a chance to speak with Kara Killmer and Amy Morton (who will be appearing next week) briefly about the Brett / Mouch collaboration during One Chicago Day on Thursday, and we’ll have a story published about that over the course of the coming days. Be on the lookout!
