‘Jane the Virgin’ season 3, episode 2 preview: Rogelio tries out his American accent
The third season of “Jane the Virgin” kicked off with an episode that made you wait for a long time to learn the truth about Michael’s fate. You went on an emotional journey over the course of the episode, but eventually the glorious truth was revealed that he lived to see another day. (Did you really think anything else was going to happen?)
Moving into next week’s “Chapter Forty-Six,” it may be best that we take a moment to focus more on something a little bit lighter. With that in mind, why not enjoy an episode stuffed full of funny moments in terms of Rogelio trying to perfect an American accent? While we know that there is quite a bit going on beyond this on Monday night’s new episode, that’s the primary focus of the promo below — and it’s a very funny one as you see him do his best frat bro and a few other American stereotypes.
For those of you looking for a few more substantial details about this story, we like to think that the synopsis below provides them:
“When Rafael (Justin Baldoni) finally admits that he is over Jane (Gina Rodriguez), their co-parenting style is tested when they argue over what the best preschool is for Mateo. Xo (Andrea Navedo) is paranoid about Alba (Ivonne Coll) finding out her secret and what it will do to their relationship. Rogelio (Jaime Camil) is ready to cross over to American TV, especially after he learns his nemesis is making the transition. Meanwhile, “Anezka” (Yael Grobglas) is trying to find new dirt on Rafael when she begins an unexpected romance.”
Sound like fun? If nothing else, hopefully this will serve as a good foundation to everything else that is going to be coming up moving forward this season. (Photo: The CW.)
