‘Big Brother OTT’ spoilers: America’s week 2 nominee; Jason, Shelby squabble

This morning we had a chance to learn something that felt like a foregone conclusion in the “Big Brother OTT” house: Monte is the third nominee for eviction, as chosen by America. We know that there were many people who felt like Morgan was a better choice, and we do think it would have been funnier; yet, at the same time getting Monte up there could prove interesting given that if he wins the Veto, suddenly either Danielle or Shane will be evicted this week.

Oddly, the biggest event of this morning had little to do with the nomination itself, but rather an argument that broke out afterwards between Jason and Shelby … all about where she wanted to sit on the coach and a few other things. The reality is that Jason hates her guts, and feels like she’s bitter, negative, and mean for no reason. He’s been bashing her for a while now, and last night he decided he was going to try and hide some of the chocolates she likes from her.

Jason probably is facing some of the biggest backlash he’s faced in two seasons over calling Shelby a certain word that we all did go after Paul for using, as well, last season, and we do wish someone would come in and tell them that it’s never a good look to be throwing that sort of language around. Do we get Jason’s frustrations with her? Sure, since she seems like one of those people who’s incredibly fun to listen to on the outside, but not so fun to live with on the inside. Yet, there are limits to it.

The Power of Veto Competition is coming later today, and all signs for now indicate that it will involve somehow the mallets that we saw the houseguests practicing with over the weekend. Maybe we’re getting a modified version of croquet or something?
