‘Masters of Sex’ season 4, episode 3 preview: Changes are coming!

The fourth season of “Masters of Sex” will be continuing its journey on Showtime tonight, and with that we’re going to see Masters and Johnson continue to work towards one common goal: Solidifying the clinic, and in turn solidifying what was at one point a fairly stable relationship. Now, the two are getting new employees, and as they progress onward, tensions old and new are going to surface.

For a little more information on that, here’s what we can tell you about the installment airing next week: The title is “The Pleasure Protocol,” and judging from the synopsis below (via TV Guide) there’s going to be a rather hefty amount of stuff going down:

“Masters and Johnson adjust to new partners, but their respective cases cause them to second-guess the instinct to remain separated. Meanwhile, a romantic prospect pushes Libby to embrace life as a newly single woman of the sexual revolution.”

As we press onward into the fourth season, our assumption would of course be that we are going to see Masters and Johnson get closer together once more in the way that they once were, and as for Libby, we’re supremely excited to see what happens with her given that she is operating on a little bit more of a different slate, and there is more freedom for the show to do and create things there — or at least that’s our assumption judging from how they have handled some other characters on the show as of late.
