‘Blindspot’ season 2 spoilers: A test of loyalty
The second season of “Blindspot” has to date been one jammed full of a wide array of twists and turns, and we’re saying that given that we’re only a single episode into the run! That should tell you precisely just how crazy the show is at present.
One of the central conflicts set up here is whether or not Jane should trust her friends over the course of the past year or the mysterious Sandstorm with her future. The latter is appealing because of their supposed connection to her past, but does that necessarily mean for sure that they are going to actually show her loyalty when the dust settles? That is still what we have to figure out, though it seems as though by the third episode of the season, we’re going to see this character forced to make some pretty tough choices.
For a little more information regarding what is coming up next, take a look at the attached synopsis below for “Hero Fears Imminent Rot,” which is the title for this aforementioned installment:
“Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and the team must race the clock to stop a series of escalating New York City bombings, while Jane (Jaimie Alexander) is forced to go on an assassination mission to prove her loyalty…or suffer the consequences.”
Basically, it seems as though there are a ton of lives in danger, and we could continue to see the show move at a fairly rapid pace. While there may still be procedural elements, nobody is completely abandoning the long-term elements that help to shape the coming episodes.
