‘MasterChef’ season 7 finale: Who should win?
Tonight, “MasterChef” narrowed down the field of remaining contestants to three, and in the process, we learned that these are the final three who will be taking part in the finale in hopes of getting that grand prize. The conclusion of this season should be thrilling, mostly because we still don’t think there is a consensus pick as to who could come out on top this season.
Now that we’ve said that, we do have for you below our personal rankings for the remaining home cooks, just to give you a think as to who we think could win in the very end of this.
3. David – The irony with him being last is that his food is probably the one we’d be the most interested in eating outside of the kitchen. We’re not one to buy too much into the edit, but we do think that Gordon Ramsay and company may have a hard time giving someone the win who has shown a temper in the competition, and also came close to walking out in the first part of tonight’s episode.
2. Shaun – In terms of technical ability, he’s probably the strongest cook left and given where he’s from, we can easily see him working in a gourmet kitchen or as a chef in the near future. We’re just thinking that in terms of narrative, him winning probably isn’t the story that has been presented to us most of the season.
1. Brandi – Think about it: She’s from a super-tiny town, she’s a mother trying to prove that she can follow her dreams, and she’s grown so much over the course of the season. A Brandi win would probably be the most satisfying television, and we also think that she could do the most with it.
