‘Quantico’ season 2 spoilers: First details on premiere episode

You’ve been waiting for much of the summer to learn a little bit more news on “Quantico,” and we’re rather pleased now to get at least a few clues regarding what is coming up next!

According to a new report from SpoilerTV, “Kudove” is the title for the first installment of the show this fall, and the synopsis below makes it clear that Alex Parrish (Priyanka Chopra) is going to waste almost no time before getting herself in another situation that could put lives in jeopardy:

“While investigating the dark world of espionage at a mysterious CIA training facility, Alex becomes caught at the center of a conspiracy that threatens lives across the globe.”

So what will make this story different than the first season’s? Early indications suggest that the plan here is not to have the story swerve in some random directions and contain as many jaw-dropping moments as we saw in the first season. From our vantage point, this is enough to consider this a chance to improve on season 1. While it’s great to have a huge conspiracy mixed with questions as to who is the guilty party, at the same time you want to have smaller, more intimate stories where you get to know the characters. Also, and we’ve said this before, it is very important to have some light and shade so that when the shocking cliffhangers come, they don’t blend together with every single one that came before it.
