‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 10 spoilers: All about the premiere (and its bevy of guest stars)
The tenth season of “The Big Bang Theory” will be coming your way on Monday, September 19, and with that we’re hoping to see a story that is about a variety of different things, whether it be Leonard and Penny’s vow renewal or Howard’s attempts to further along his new project.
More than anything, though, this episode could be all about guest stars. Even though this is only a 30-minute show, the just-released full synopsis details people all across the board that you’re going to get a chance to see:
“After Sheldon’s mother and Leonard’s father share an evening together, everyone deals with an awkward morning the next day. Also, Penny’s family arrives for the wedding ceremony, including her anxiety-ridden mother, Susan (Katey Sagal), and her drug dealing brother, Randall (Jack McBrayer), on the 10th season premiere of THE BIG BANG THEORY, Monday, Sept. 19 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. Dean Norris guest stars as Colonel Williams, an Air Force Representative from the Department of Materiel Command. Christine Baranski, Laurie Metcalf, Judd Hirsch and Keith Carradine return.”
There may only be a few episodes we can think of with this show that have so many guest stars, but this has to be the most star-studded group of people to ever turn up. Think about the comedy legacy that is present just with Sagal, Hirsch, and McBrayer alone; then, add to it a former star of “The Good Wife” and also Dean Norris coming over after playing Hank on “Breaking Bad.” While this show may not be full-on the ratings juggernaut it once was, this still should be seen as further proof of its cultural dominance.
