Is ‘Big Brother 18’ on tonight? Football preemptions ravage CBS schedule
Tonight’s “Big Brother” episode could prove to be all sorts of exciting, but at the same time, there’s a good chance that you may not even see it (at least live) depending on where you are located.
Thanks to NFL programming for many East Coast / Central markets, the eviction show will be preempted on CBS. Unfortunately, it’s hard to tell you what each one of you should do given that many affiliates are going to operate independently. Some may air the show later tonight, on a sister station, or on another date. CBS.com is of course also a viable option for many of you, but the miserable thing about that is you have to wait for a little while in order to check it out. (Then again, odds are you’re in that same boat because of foodball.) This is ultimately an occasion where you do need to check your local listings.
We’re going to go ahead and throw an idea out there, mostly because so many have jumped to the conclusion that Paulie has the Round-Trip Ticket, and that’s why there is a Friday show that seems to be filler as opposed to a Battle Back. What if that show actually is meant as a placeholder? What if some networks use that spot in order to air tonight’s episode, and this is just bonus programming for the viewers who get to see the eviction show live? Just a thought, and one that may be completely far out there.
Ultimately, we will know the answer soon, given that tonight’s episode is mere minutes away. As per usual, we will be reviewing it live as it happens.
