‘Big Brother 18’ live feed spoilers: Paulie keeps campaigning; round-trip ticket talk
The most hilarious situation we can think of when it comes to “Big Brother 18” this week is still floating around out there, though we supremely doubt it happens: Everyone opening up their Round-Trip Tickets so that they are void, only for Paulie to realize that he has one and consequently completely ruined his chances in the game.
It would be foolish to say we’re all-in on the latest conspiracy theory that he has one of them, but the evidence does seem to point in that direction, no? Exhibit A is that CBS scheduled a show for Friday night, presumably one that could have been used for a Battle Back Competition. Instead, we’re getting some sort of cheesy fair filmed earlier this week with food, Ziggy Marley, and maybe even a few corny games. It may be the most useless non-recap episode in the history of the show.
Why in the world would the network make this? The only logical solution (note: It’s possible that CBS is illogical) is that they know Paulie has the ticket, and will be going right back in the game. Therefore, there is no need for the Battle Back. If Paulie voids them, heads roll and we roll on the floor with laughter.
Tonight, he has continued his campaign crusade, taking people into various rooms and attempting to convince them of various things, whether it be his anxiety over the Jury House, his new-found sense of loyalty, or an emotional plea that Zakiyah distracted him from the game or that she said nasty things about other women in the game. None of it is working; sorry, Paulie.
One little update – Nicole wants to nominate Paul and Victor if she gets into power, so note to the two guys: One of them really needs to get that Care Package. Otherwise, this could be a rough few days ahead. We do think that if Paulie returns, he, Nicole, and Corey will remain the targets. While Victor may be threatening, going against a trio this late in the game looks disastrous. (Yes, we know Austin and the twins were left forever, but Nicole and Paulie are better players than any of those three.)

Strong feeling that Paulie has the round trip ticket! In honesty, good for him if he does. He’s been through a horrible week.

I think I’d be happier for him if he hadn’t spent so much time threatening to leave jury, unless that’s some sort of strategy but I haven’t gotten that sense just yet.

Totally agree with you. But the poor guy had an unfortunate meltdown. It’s obvious he has invested a lot of time and energy into the game. More so than anyone else.
Although he has emerged as the so-called villain by his fellow HG it is not owed to any complacency on his behalf.
Watching how he has studied every aspect of the game is really astonishing.

I do agree that he put a lot in, and that explains some of his exhaustion after the fact. I do think he made some big mistakes and said things he’d like to have back, but I’m open-minded if he comes back and shows something else. I just have a hard time imagining him winning given the present lay of the land.

There is a lot of things Paulie would like to walk back. Luckily much of it has been omitted from the tv edit. So he has that going for him.
