New ‘American Horror Story’ season 6 teases really want to hook you

Another day passes, and with that of course comes some further opportunities to hype up the latest season of “American Horror Story” … even if it is hardly as though FX is revealing a whole lot about it.

If you look below, you can see both a new poster and also a new promo featuring some pretty creepy stuff. Namely, we’re talking here about hooks. This of course is tempting us into making a series of jokes about how the show could be trying to hook you into watching the season, which is by most estimations in need of a creative comeback. Season 5 was big and bawdy, so we’re not altogether shocked that we are seeing the show now go for something a little bit dark and mysterious.

Unfortunately with these new items in particular, it’s hard to extract too many hints — and we know that, for the most part, this is an intentional move on the network’s part. They have made it clear already that there are several clues buried out there that are meant to be intentionally misleading, since they don’t really want anyone figuring everything out and then spoiling it all over the internet.

Rest assured that once there is something more official to share, we will have it for you here … though to be fair, it doesn’t seem like we’re going to be altogether much until the premiere episode rolls around on September 14.
