‘Ray Donovan’ season 4, episode 7 preview: ‘Norman Saves the World’

The fourth season of “Ray Donovan” will be at least in some familiar territory on the next new episode, if for no other reason that Mickey is going to find himself yet again in trouble. One difference may just be that this time around, Ray may actually be trying to help in some capacity.

What could that be? Well, we can tell you that in next week’s “Norman Saves the World,” we’re going to see the character look for some help courtesy of a one-time adversary. This person is going to have a fallen star of sorts from the family-comedy world, and he may now look to use this person as leverage. If nothing else, Ray may need to do what he can in this episode to get Mickey to the safest part of prison while he’s in there, but who knows entirely what that will require from him?

However, Ray’s got some other problems that he will have to deal with at the same time. For one, a scandal from the past could resurface involving an agent in Hollywood and someone with ties to Ezra. Anytime the past comes back on this show, it’s rarely ever a good thing.

Let’s just hope this episode proves to pack a big punch based on where we are in the season right now. We’re now at around the halfway mark, which typically is when you get a good sense as to where things are going, and also who is in the most danger to go along with it.
