‘Wayward Pines’ season 2, episode 9 preview: Is going ‘back to sleep’ the right move?
Tonight, “Wayward Pines” brought us a little bit closer to the endgame for this season with an episode that made one thing really clear: The onslaught is not stopping anytime soon. Everyone in the town is in huge danger, and there are of course questions of survival, questions of leadership, and questions suggesting whether or not they should start again down the road.
Is being put back to sleep really the right move? Maybe if you don’t think there is no other way … but we have to think that there is. We’re not going to claim that this is a show about hope, but it is one about finding solutions. Not all of them may be ideal, but they are solutions nonetheless. Some of Jason’s could even get him in trouble moving forward.
Based on the synopsis for the next new episode, the current set of circumstances are going to cause many people to do surprising things:
“Pilcher recalls finding his Chosen One. Then, as the Abbies close in, Jason makes a fatal judgment call and Theo and Xander must put aside their differences to stop him before the human race is lost.”
The promo below offers up a little more insight, and while it certainly does not give anything away, it does raise the stakes and questions as to where all of this could be going. We’re not too far from the end, so rest assured there will be some interesting ways in which we find out. We’ll have some further news soon!

I hope he is referring to Jason. He is going to get them all killed, he is fool.

Who was Dr. Edlin speaking to at the end of this preview when he said “take him out”, referring to Jason?
