‘The Musketeers’ season 3, episode 7 preview: Aftermath, and a village of women
Tonight on BBC One, “The Musketeers,” delivered an episode that was certainly full of danger and intrigue. Grimaud and Feron’s plans were center stage, and we witnessed our heroes in the midst of an elaborate game of survival. Of course, the real twist here is that it was not a game at all.
So where do we go from here? Next week, it’s clear that Grimaud is out there, and there will be a mission to find them. In turn, some of the Musketeers will encounter a very unusual community, one that may in turn carry with it some secrets. Just take a look at the attached synopsis to get some other news on what to expect:
“In pursuit of Grimaud, the Musketeers stumble across a battle-scarred village where the women thrive without men. Quick-witted leader Juliet is quick to warn the Musketeers off. Is she simply protecting hercommunity, or is she hiding something? When a gang of hardened war deserters attack, the Musketeers must earn the women’s trust to help them defend their independence – unearthing a secret history far darker than anything they’ve encountered before. Meanwhile at the Louvre, Anne makes a bold confession to secure her son’s future.”
It is fairly safe to say that we are in the series’ home stretch, and that in one way or another, we are building towards a finale. In the wake of Feron’s death, will Grimaud be more unhinged? Also, you have to wonder what the Aramis – Louis dynamic will be like following the good and bad of this episode.
