‘Bones’ season 11, episode 21 spoilers: First look at ‘The Jewel in the Crown’
While you may have to wait until July 14 to see the next new episode of “Bones,” rest assured that it certainly sounds like there could be something good coming to us as a reward. After all, how else do you explain a case that could have some sort of worldwide implications? The title for this upcoming episode is “The Jewel of the Crown,” and you can see the synopsis for it below:
“The team investigates a body found at a glass recycling plant with a diamond lodged in its jaw. French Inspector Rousseau approaches the team with an accusation against the Marquis De Chaussin, who is revealed to be the victim’s husband and lives in Virginia. Meanwhile, Booth discovers he suffers from a temporary eye illness, and Hodgins thinks he’s being followed by a ghost.”
We hope that the end of this episode will be something that does set events into motion that pay off in the finale, if for no other reason than that it’d be great to see the story end on some sort of a huge story that spans a little bit more than a single episode. We especially feel that way given that this is the final season coming up, so there is not exactly a whole lot of time to tie up every story … especially with a shorter final season.
If you missed it, the reason why we’re being forced to wait so long until the next episode is mostly a function of the fact that Fox doesn’t really have anything else to put on the air for the time being on Thursdays, and they don’t want to lose ratings around the July 4 holiday.
