‘Criminal Minds’ season 12: The process begins!
For everyone who follows the world of television, especially network shows, there is a pretty specific process that happens to get a show from the end of one season to the start of the next … and we’re starting to see this process begin anew for “Criminal Minds” over on CBS.
As you can see in the tweet below, the first outline for the season has been put out there! What this means mostly is that the writers, led by Erica Messer, have figured out what they want the basic overall story for the new season to be. There will be things that change, but this is at least a starting point to everything that is going to be coming up moving forward.
There are of course going to be many more episodes that are specifically being written over the course of the weeks ahead, and at that point, we’ll see the team get into some more specifics. Filming is going to begin a little bit later this summer, and it should premiere in the summer.
For those who missed it, the biggest news when it comes to “Criminal Minds” came out a little bit earlier in the month, when it was confirmed that Adam Rodriguez of “Empire” and “CSI: Miami” was adding to the cast as a series regular, hoping to fill at least part of the void left by Shemar Moore. As soon as there is some other news on the cast or the story, rest assured that we’ll have it for you here!
