‘Game of Thrones’ season 6, episode 8 preview: The ‘No One’ mystery for Maisie Williams, Peter Dinklage, cast
Typically, HBO likes to release some sort of synopsis for its “Game of Thrones” episodes prior to them coming on the air; as a matter of fact, they tend to come a week or more in advance.
However, that is not the case for next week’s new episode. At present, we really know nothing (Jon Snow) other than that the title is “No One.” We’ll pick up more once we get a chance to watch tonight’s episode “The Broken Man” in its entirety and see the next promo. For now, the biggest assumption that we can make is that Maisie Williams’ character of Arya will factor in here in a significant way. She has spent some time in Braavos acting as though she is “No One,” but judging from her recent actions, it feels rather clear that there are some big events coming in her story — which you could say started tonight. We’ve certainly been put through our paces waiting to get to where we are now!
Also, is it too much to say that we want something more for Tyrion? Peter Dinklage has had to date a relatively quiet season compared to some others, but given his status on the show and the love for the character, we cannot imagine that season 6 will conclude without some more flourishes. The Hound certainly sets the stage perfectly!
Update: We’ve now got the full promo, and it does feature some of the aforementioned characters! (Arya’s not dead!) No one (fittingly) received just a massive amount of screen time, but ultimately, it does look like if you’re a Lena Headey fan, you’re going to be especially thrilled with the amount of Cersei this time around.
Be sure to come back later tonight for a boatload of extensive coverage! The real link to keep track of is this one.
