Is ‘The Musketeers’ season 3, episode 2 new tonight? BBC One changes schedule for tribute
While you had a chance last week to bear witness to the season 3 premiere of “The Musketeers,” BBC One is changing things around today in reflection of some recent events.
Following the stunning news of Muhammad Ali’s death this weekend, the network is now airing a tribute in the form of the documentary “The Greatest” this weekend. “The Musketeers” is going to be off the air until next Saturday, when episode 2 will air. We certainly do not blame the network for this decision, given that Ali was one of the most influential athletes in the history of the world. Boxing was never more relevant than when he was at his prime, and we’re not sure it will ever be more relevant again.
For “The Musketeers,” there are still many more stories to come within this final season, and as a result of that, we presume many more surprises. The show remains wall-to-wall fun, so of course we’re excited to see what happens next. If somehow you missed the teaser for episode 2 we dropped last week, here it is again for your reading pleasure:
“With Paris on the brink of starvation, Grimaud and Feron join forces with the Duke of Beaufort to win the king’s business by framing the city’s refugees for grain theft. D’Artagnan’s hot temper makes him a Red Guard target and lands him in the chatelet with the victims, whose execution date looms. One man down, the musketeers race to discover the truth. Spirited refugee Sylvie catches Athos’ attention and he vows to prove her friends’ innocence – but is he wise to trust her? With a spy in their midst, can the musketeers break the conspirators’ grip on Paris before the refugees hang?”

I am oh so glad that it turned out that I did not have to rely on BBC America(let alone BBC1) for Season 3 of this amazing show. And I will leave it at that as I am many things bt not a Spoiler. I only wish that someone would pick this up for a Season 4.

I am disgusted with the BBC. They could had dropped that ancient Medical Show & shown The Musketeers! There is a Hugh fan base for The Musketeers! BBC stop messing around with our show. Axed Casualty cos it been going for too long! Absolute crap! You could save yourself some money & make more seriesof The Musketeers?

I think it’s actor Tom Burke who has said the show should be put onto i-Player – forget about showing it on BBC live TV. Then we can watch it WHEN WE WANT IT, not when the BBC can be bothered to show it.

We hear now that it will be football next Saturday and wonder when if ever the BBC will bother to continue the Musketeers series. It’s disgraceful the series has been delayed for months and now it’s being shown over the summer along with sports events galore. What is wrong with BBC?

Musketeers episode 2 was not removed to make way for Ali tribute. Musketeers was replaced by Casualty, which was moved to make way for Ali tribute. It’s a pity the BBC don’t state this accurately but pretend they couldn’t show Musketeers. They could show Musketeers, the slot was available, but they preferred to show the old dinosaur Casualty which could have been shown any time as it not a serial. VERY BAD BEHAVIOUR BY BBC who appear to have no respect for Musketeers series.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour by the BBC (PC BBC) to cower to the fanboys and change scheduling at last minute.
The musketeers has easily been the best programme on the BBC for the last three years!!
Season 3 has been shunted by the BBC and should of aired in January like season 1 and 2
Some other countries already have the whole season broadcast already
Fk the BBC I’m going to watch the rest of the season online.

I wondered why it seemed to take forever for series 3 to arrive, and didn’t even realise they’d moved it 4 months later than the other series, now I know why. I didn’t even realise they’d been shown in other countries either. Looks like I’m with you. Putlocker here I come. Time to download series 3

As a massive fan of the Musketeers, this change in schedule is very disappointing, especially at such late notice. To add insult to injury, you decided to bring Casualty forward instead as well! Very poor show BBC.
