Memorial Day Weekend: ‘NCIS,’ ‘Criminal Minds,’ ‘The Last Ship,’ ‘American Ninja Warrior’ among marathons

This weekend is hardly considered to be one of the best when it comes to TV programming. After all, the majority of people out there are looking at this more as an opportunity to go out and spend some time with their friends and family. Often a TV is replaced by a patio chair and a barbecue for a couple of days. This is why most networks don’t program here! Heck, we’re surprised that Starz is still airing “Outlander,” and that HBO is still running “Game of Thrones.”

For those of you who are taking advantage of the weekend to watch some marathons, or to simply have the TV on while cookie or doing other things, here are some of the notable programming to be aware of. All times listed, for those curious, are Eastern Standard.

Saturday

“American Ninja Warrior” (7:00 a.m. – 4:00 a.m., Esquire)

“The Librarians” (12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., TNT)

“NCIS” (12:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m., USA)

James Bond movie marathon (1:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m., AMC)

“Star Trek: The Next Generation” (11:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m., BBC America)

Sunday

“Law & Order” (6:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., TNT)

“Top Gear” (6:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., BBC America)

“Criminal Minds” (8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., A&E)

“Naked and Afraid” (9:00 a.m. – 3:00 a.m., Discovery)

“UnREAL” (10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Lifetime)

“Law & Order: SVU” (11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m., USA)

Monday

“Real Housewives of Orange County” (6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Bravo)

“The Last Ship” (7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., TNT)

“The Simpsons” (6:00 p.m. – midnight, FXX)
