Is ‘NCIS’ season 13 new tonight on CBS? The change-up
The past few weeks have certainly been a pleasure for many fans of “NCIS,” as we’ve gotten a chance to sit back and see how the show plans to say goodbye to Michael Weatherly and his character of Anthony DiNozzo. In the end, they gave us an episode that can probably be described as polarizing, especially given the way in which the Ziva character was seemingly killed off.
Unfortunately, there is no last-minute reprieve or extra episode coming your way tonight. The show is over for the spring, and with that, CBS is airing in the show’s place a “Price Is Right” special. They started this tradition on Monday night with one themed around “Survivor,” and “Big Brother” and “The Amazing Race” are next!
You will get a chance to get your fill for all things “NCIS” once again later this fall, when the show is going to return with all-new episodes. Weatherly will be gone, but unless there is something else that changes over the course of the summer, Duane Henry and Sarah Clarke will probably be series regulars; it still remains to be seen how they will be integrated into the remainder of the story, but we figure that we’ll learn a thing or two about them in the near future.
Hopefully, later this summer CBS will unveil the official premiere date for the new season; what we would imagine is that it will air starting in late September, and in its timeslot at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. Stay tuned for more updates along the way!
