‘Person of Interest’ season 5, episode 2 preview: What lies ahead in ‘SNAFU’
It has been a heck of a long wait, but fans of Reese, Finch, Root, and the rest of the “Person of Interest” cast can now celebrate: We’re back on the air! There are many new episodes that are still to come on CBS, and this includes one next week known only as “SNAFU.”
You can see the synopsis for this installment below, but we do want to go ahead and hand down a small reminder here that thanks to the way CBS is scheduling out the final season, the next episode is coming your way on Monday. It’s going to run two nights for the remainder of the season, which means that you’ll get to be seeing more of it at a much more rapid pace:
“The Machine experiences a glitch during rebooting, supplying Reese and Fusco with the numbers of dozens of people not actually involved in crimes, while also locking Finch and Root out after identifying them as threats based on past violent behavior.”
Ultimately, we’re going to have to just wait and see how all of this unfolds, but given that we are still extremely early on in the run of the show, there are going to be plenty of opportunities to be surprised at whatever sort of twists and turns the producers / writers throw at us. Let’s just hope that you’re along for the ride; also, let’s hope that the show comes back tomorrow with ratings that make CBS look a little silly for deciding to cancel it.
