‘Quantico’ spoilers: Characters will die before finale

The promo for the next “Quantico” episode that aired after Sunday night’s new episode hinted that there were some enormous shockers still to come, but at the same time it did not necessarily confirm that all of them were coming immediately. With that in mind, there was a part of us that started to wonder if this was the show’s way of merely hyping up the finale a few episodes in advance. The majority of network shows out there do prefer to save much of their best stuff until they get around to that episode.

Is “Quantico” doing the same thing? As it turns out, that may not be the case here at all! Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, showrunner Josh Safran made it clear that before we even get to the finale, there are a few moments that could cause people to have their jaws on the ground:

“Once you make it to the end of the next episode, it’s a non-stop [story]. It’s the end of the rollercoaster, the last drops… You’ll see how they all fit into the big puzzle. Characters will perish previous to the finale. We did not save everything for the finale. I really believe that starting with the next episode, you can’t miss a moment.”

Now, let’s just hope that this hype is actually met. It’s going to be hard necessarily to create a big reveal for the terrorist that matches a season’s worth of hype; with that, there are going to need to be some other ways to ensure that the end of this story matters, and it is earned based on all that we’ve seen so far.
