‘Elementary’ season 4 spoilers: Who’s in danger in the finale?
Given what we know about the end of almost any crime show out there, there is one thing that we felt pretty confident we could expect by the end of “Elementary” this season: Characters in grave danger. In particular on this show, we’re going to end up seeing Morland Holmes finding himself in a very precarious position.
For those of you out there interested in getting some other news right away when it comes to specifically what you can expect to see, we suggest taking a look at the synopses for the show’s final two episodes. These are connected, and will give you a whole lot of Morland mythology that could end up connecting to some other important parts of the show’s history.
“The Invisible Hand” (May 1) – “When Holmes and Watson discover the perpetrator behind the attempt made on Morland’s (John Noble) life, they find a shocking connection to themselves.”
“A Difference in Kind” (May 8) – “Holmes and Watson’s lives are threatened by an influential, worldwide criminal network connected to the murder attempt on Morland Holmes (John Noble). Also, Sherlock’s grievances with his father threaten their alliance to bring their mutual adversary to justice.”
As we’ve said a few times now, the good news is that we already know that the show has been renewed for a fifth season. With that in mind, you can probably expect at least some elements of this finale to carry over to the future … and hopefully they will be important beyond just the show’s first episode back next season.
