‘Criminal Minds’ season 11 finale spoilers: Which team member is getting arrested?

The eleventh season of “Criminal Minds” may not be coming to a close until May 4, but thanks to CBS being rather generous with handing out details today, we have a little more information regarding the upcoming finale entitled “The Storm.” First, a quick warning: There are some spoilers ahead! If you do find yourself to be especially sensitive on this sort of thing, our advice is to be prepared for this, since the synopsis below does give a few things away.

One more bit of context we will give you is that this episode is a direct continuation of the 21st episode of the season, which you can read more about over here:

“The BAU is shocked when SWAT apprehends Hotch (Thomas Gibson) and accuses him of conspiracy. As the team scrambles to prove his innocence, they suspect a larger plot is on the horizon. Guest stars include Frances Fisher as convicted serial killer Antonia Slade, and Sheryl Lee Ralph as Rossi’s ex-wife, Hayden Montgomery.”

While the whole “good guy gets arrested” story is about as tired a premise as you are going to find out there (they just did this on “Gotham” as well), we are rather happy to still see the show continuing to establish some great stakes, especially for a guy in Hotch who really hasn’t had a huge arc of his own in some time. Also, it’s nice that Rossi’s past is going to once again play a key role after we got a good sense of it on this past episode entitled “Inner Beauty.”
