‘Survivor: Kaoh Rong’ episode 9 preview: Scot and Jason’s ‘revenge’
If we were Scot and Jason on “Survivor: Kaoh Rong” right now, we’d certainly feel a little bit annoyed. After all, they thought that the plan was going one way to ensure either Aubry or Debbie left the game, and they found out instead that Nick was getting blindsided at Tribal Council. Basically, they learned that not everything this season is going to go their way.
So what are they going to do next? Given that Jason set himself up pre-game as a Russell Hantz supporter, we’re not surprised that he is taking a page out of his playbook and hiding his machete … though we’re not sure how he thinks this is going to win him any friends on the jury down the road. Also, isn’t it going to be super-obvious that one of the few people completely unaware of the plan went and hid it out of spite? It’s not a great look for either him or Jason, who really should be trying to figure out how to get some of these allies back in the fold given that they could now be on the outs big-time in this game … or are they?
One of the interesting developments also mentioned in the preview next week is Julia continuing to gravitate around the guys, which may lead to the newfound alliance of the women + Joe that maybe she is not completely with them. If she and Michele stick together and they go back with the guys for another vote (given Tai is still with them), they suddenly have the majority again.
All we hope for at this point are some more surprising votes. Nick was the only obvious boot really remaining editing-wise, so from here things should start to be more interesting.
