‘Blindspot episode 17 preview: The clue’s in the crossword puzzle!

There’s something about next week’s new episode of “Blindspot” that appeals to us on some sort of weird level, and we’re reasonably happy right now to know what the precise source of that is: The idea of there being a clue buried somewhere within a New York Times crossword puzzle.

The synopsis below gives you a little bit more news regarding what is coming up in this episode, which should include a variety of interesting developments, whether it be the crossword clue or Oscar finally cluing in Jane to a little bit more of her past. “After Patterson (Ashley Johnson) discovers a hidden message in the New York Times crossword, she embarks on a tattoo scavenger hunt that leads her into danger. Oscar (guest star Francois Arnaud) finally tells Jane (Jaimie Alexander) more about who she was, and Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) seeks his Dad’s opinion about who kidnapped Taylor Shaw.”

Will this be an episode that gives you answers? We’re probably sure that you will get some, but at the same time we’d be shocked if there is an avalanche of them coming in before the season finale. That’s probably when the veil is going to be lifted.
