‘UnREAL’ season 2, ‘Devious Maids’ season 4 premiere dates confirmed by Lifetime

UnREAL -

Just in case you were curious as to when a pair of Lifetime favorites we’re coming back on the air, we’re certainly now more than pleased to be bringing you some answers.

Today, the network confirmed that the second season on “UnREAL” will premiere on Monday, June 6 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time, where it will air following the premiere of another show in “Devious Maids.” These two shows were a part of a great one-two punch for the network in 2015, so we are sure they are happy to have them back once more.

As for what is coming up over the course of the second season of “UnREAL,” you will be seeing a heck of a lot of new people as “Everlasting” shifts to a new season with a various different sort of lead in football player Darius Hill. The show is doing something that its inspiration in “The Bachelor” has not, and that is having an African-American lead. It’s to be seen just how much this will influence the show, but one of the themes that could potentially come out of it is the overall cognizance that seems to be out there at the moment in regards to television and diversity. It’s clearly what networks are making a lot of money on, so they are trying to seek it out almost anywhere that they possibly can.

All we can say for certain is that expectations are high at the moment for both shows to deliver, and we plan on having further news all about them moving forward into the future. (Hopefully part of this will include some video footage.) Stay tuned.
