‘Ink Master’ season 7, episode 5 preview: Is the Christian Buckingham, Megan Jean Morris alliance over?

Next week on “Ink Master,” we’re going to see the return of another artist to the competition from a previous season … but surprisingly, it was the newbies yet again who were front and center for most of the drama in the preview.

Despite being tightly aligned for most of the season, it’s starting to look as though newbies Christian Buckingham and Megan Jean Morris are now going their separate ways. She has been getting closer as of late to Cleen Rock One, and maybe this is causing Christian to rethink his current strategy. Given that he, Megan, and Anthony Michaels have all shown themselves to be the strongest one-season competitors there, we personally think that it would behoove them to continue to do something together.

When it comes to some of the veterans this season, the biggest thing that you can probably expect to see next week is someone, possibly Matti Hixson based on some of the promos, be the target of the others over whether or not they are performing up to snuff. There is someone else entering the competition, as well, and we figure that this will help to ratchet things up another notch when it comes to intensity. Everyone there knows how to tattoo, but you have to meet the challenges on a weekly basis and handle some of the pressures of different clients. This show can be a lot to take in.
