‘Chicago Fire’ season 4 spoilers: Jesse Spencer on Dawson, Casey relationship ‘status’

So what is the nature of Dawson and Casey’s relationship at the moment on “Chicago Fire“? That is certainly a little bit of a mystery, and that goes even for the actors playing the part. Maybe they’re engaged, or maybe they just act like it. They’re together, and maybe that is what matters most for now since they don’t seem to be sweating many of the other details.

In speaking about the nature of their relationship at present a little bit more with TVLine, Jesse Spencer passed along the following message:

“It’s sitting in a drawer somewhere? They don’t want to address it! She’s not going to wear it at work. Maybe she’ll pop it back out when things start getting rough – or she’ll give it back to me.”

Maybe there will be some more information on this by the time we make it to the end of these season, since the truth of the matter here seems to be that there is no real reason for anyone to hurry things along at present. After all, Casey has been preoccupied with the Alderman race, and there have also been new arrivals at Firehouse 51 and plenty of other situations there that have monopolized a lot of their time. So long as these two are not breaking up at any point in the reasonably-near future, we’re going to be happy in the end. Here’s to hoping that everything sticks and the two just end up together down the road.
