‘Luke Cage’ spoilers: Teaser airs following ‘Daredevil’ season 2 finale

For those of you who are really excited about the arrival of “Luke Cage” on Netflix later this year, the service has a special gift for you, provided that you make it all the way to the end of “Daredevil” season 2: A short teaser that basically features the indestructibility of the show’s main character.

The teaser runs for around 20 seconds, and features Mike Colter’s character being shot at repeatedly. From here, he jokes that he keeps having to buy new clothes because bad guys keep shooting them up … and then we’ve got a little bit of music from Nas as the logo above comes on the screen. It’s not much, but the show really does not need to do much in order to get people excited.

One of the exciting things about the “Luke Cage” series as a whole is that this is a character who Marvel – Netflix fans are certainly familiar with thanks to his arc on “Jessica Jones” season 1. Here, he will have more of a chance than ever to step into his own spotlight, and show everyone precisely what it is that he is capable of. We definitely imagine that this is going to be action-packed, entertaining, and definitely different than anything that we’ve had a chance to see even in the Marvel Cinematic Universe so far.

The tough thing about this is going to be having to wait until the show comes on the air … especially if you’ve already torn through much of “Daredevil.”
