‘The Flash’ season 2 video: Grant Gustin, Candice Patton more weigh in on Batman v. Superman

As a fan of “The Flash,” we know that we’re in the midst of a rather-rough time at the moment. There have been no new episodes for a couple of weeks, and there’s also not a new one coming on tonight, either. The show will be returning with some more episodes starting on Tuesday night, and you’ll get a run of them for at least a couple more weeks. We’re assuming that there could be at least one more hiatus before the season is over, but we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.

For now, think of the video below as simply a fun little way to get excited about the show coming back … and the premiere of “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” a little later this month. It does make some sense to ask the cast of the show (including Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, and others) who would win between the two characters simply for the fun of it. They’re not in the same universe as these characters, but they’re all a part of the DC family.

For the record, it’s not much of a surprise to hear Gustin say that Superman would win, given that he is a noted fan of the character. We’ll leave some of the other responses a mystery for now.

One fun thing that we do know is that Superman is at least a part of the multiverse in some way. Gustin is appearing as Barry Allen on “Supergirl” March 28, and we know that Superman is off fighting crime in Metropolis on that series.
