‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 3, episode 12 preview: Hive’s all sorts of freaky

Tuesday night’s new episode of “Agents of SHIELD” is going to serve as a great opportunity to get more into the mild of the villain otherwise known as Hive, and if you’ve been craving some more information about what to expect from him on the show, have no fear: We’ve now got that for you below!

In this preview, what we effectively get a chance to see here is a little bit more of what Hive is capable of as a character, and also some of how he interacts with some other characters with … skills. Let’s call them that. It’s certainly a freaky scene in many ways, and in some ways it is likable foundational to what is going to be coming up the rest of the way this season.

Would it have been nice to get some of our heroes featured in here, as well? Sure, but we feel like ultimately what the show is trying to do here is lay the groundwork for what will be some epic battles to come down the road. The one thing that we are certainly hoping for more so than anything else after watching this scene is that “Agents of SHIELD” lives up to the hype that they are building around this character.

Also, we’re hoping that Brett Dalton gets to clearly relishing playing this strange creature to the same extent that he seems to enjoy it here. We’ll have more news soon.
