‘Chciago PD’ spin-off now named ‘Chicago Justice’; ‘Heroes: Reborn’ star added
Apparently, “Chicago Law” wanted to go with a name that implied a little more power. How else do you interpret “Chicago Justice” now?
According to a new report coming in right now via Deadline, the “Chicago PD” spin-off has officially changed its name, and they have also hired to go along with that “Heroes: Reborn” actress Nazneen Contractor in the role of Assistant District Attorney Dawn Harper.
This spin-off will likely be set up in a further episode of “Chicago PD” this season, and while there is no guarantee at the moment that it will get made, it is hard to imagine a situation where it is not at least heavily considered. Just remember for a moment how powerful the Dick Wolf franchise has been not just in America, but all over the globe. These are the sort of shows that invest you well in the characters, but also give you enough TV comfort food that you can watch at your own leisure, without having to worry in the process that you may have missed something.
We should know one way or another come May as to whether or not this show is going to be picked up for a run, which would more than likely premiere at midseason in the 2016-17 season. This is how things began for “Chicago PD,” and it was the original plan for “Chicago Med” before a few other factors came in and shook things up a little bit.
