Ratings: ‘American Crime’ finale rises; ‘Rosewood’ steady; ‘Survivor: Kaoh Rong’ down
Wednesday night’s TV lineup was relatively sparse, and even for the shows that were on, the ratings weren’t exactly huge. Maybe the majority of people out there were busy watching the GOP Debate or something? It’s ultimately rather hard to say.
Anyway, let’s go ahead and chart all this in our latest ratings report.
The good news – For its season 2 finale “American Crime” improved to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic. We’re not sure that this is enough to secure the anthology a third season, but it almost doesn’t matter since creator John Ridley is working with ABC on a variety of other projects; therefore, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to see his vision moving forward.
Meanwhile, “Hell’s Kitchen” improved to a 1.2, and “CSI: Cyber” posted a 1.0. It doesn’t really matter much with the latter, since every indication we get suggests that it is on its way to cancellation at the end of the season.
The bad news – For “Rosewood” (0.9), it proved that the terrible numbers from last week were not a fluke. This show really needs “Empire,” apparently, in order for people to still remember that it is on the air.
Meanwhile, over on CBS “Survivor” (2.1) dropped slightly for one of its most controversial episodes that we’ve seen so far this season. We’ve had a hard time assessing what viewers are more upset about at the moment: Some of the comments that were made about Alecia, or all of the scary medical situations that happened during the reward challenge.
