‘Survivor: Kaoh Rong’ episode 5 preview: The tribe swap cometh

We knew it was only a matter of time before we got to a tribe swap on “Survivor: Koah Rong,” and the great news now is that it’s happening on the next new episode! We’ll ultimately have a chance to see the remaining 13 players divided into two groups, which is one of the wrinkles that was thrown in there by the evacuation tonight. We’re sure that the show would have loved to make it here with 14.

Ultimately, we couldn’t be happier about the timing for the swap now, mostly because of the fact that the lines were starting to get drawn before this happened. While the Brawn tribe was down to three, it was a close three; meanwhile, for the Brain tribe it’s clear that Peter is on the outs, and for the Beauty tribe the three women are clearly in power. This swap is huge for people like Peter and Nick, since who knows what is going to happen next?

As for who we think is in the best position right now, we gotta say someone like Tai. He’s got an immunity idol, and while he did lose his #1 ally in Caleb, he is so likable that he’ll make fast friends. Jason may also have an idol, but we’ve already seen plenty of examples of how abrasive he can be.

In the end, we’re just hoping for no more medical crises; while Caleb may be polarizing to some, it’s terrible to see someone go home in this sort of brutal, super-terrible way. We’ll just have to see what happens from here.
