‘Teen Wolf’ season 6 spoilers: Could Cody Christian return as Theo?

While it seems pretty clear following the “Teen Wolf” finale Tuesday night that the show is washing their hands of the Dread Doctors and the Beast of Gevaudan, nothing is altogether cut-and-dry at the moment when it comes to Theo. While he was dragged down into the earth courtesy of his sister (well, sort of) during Tuesday night’s episode, we never technically saw him die. With that in mind, it’s still very well possible that we could see him again in the future.

Speaking about the character to TVLine, show creator Jeff Davis makes it abundantly clear that things are still open-ended when it comes to this character:

“I think he got his just desserts in the end, but I will say that we really like Cody Christian. We wanted to make sure we didn’t kill him, so we could possibly bring him back.”

We’re certainly not of the mind that Theo will ever be a force for good on the show again, so let’s just say that we are very much intrigued with seeing how the remainder of the story goes moving forward if he returns. For the time being, it seems like the writers have some other ideas on their minds, including some sort of World War II mythology that could (seriously) bring some sort of Nazi werewolves into the mix. Suffice it to say, this is going to be incredibly interesting and then some.

The new season of the MTV series should premiere in the summer.
